New epc contract for flue gas cleaning plant
On 24 June 2019 AMK Kraków S.A. and Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej – Gliwice Sp. z o.o. signed a contract for Construction of the III stage of flue gas desulphurization plant and I stage of the flue gas denitrification plant for boiler WR-25 on a „turnkey” basis. The contract value is PLN 63.60 million gross.
It is worth emphasizing that this is another agreement related with the environmental protection we can boast about with this Client. Within a period 2007 and 2016 AMK completed, based on separate agreements, flue gas desulphurization and dedusting plants for boilers WR-25 and WP-70 at the same heating unit. This time, however, the project also includes execution of the selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR).
The scope of the signed contract comprises the following: technology, building permit, engineering in all branches, building and assembly works, as well as complex start-up works (both mechanical and control system) and commissioning.
We enjoy taking part in the construction of the FGD and SNCR systems not only in view of the project magnitude but also considering our involvement in improvement of quality of the environment by way of adaptation of the plant to the stringent emission standards.
