Summing up of the “Cycle to work..” campaign
30 November 2018 was oficially the last day of the campaign “Cycle to work, that is, home, bike, work … and so on, round and round” organized by the Municipal Services Department of the City of Kraków that has lasted non-stop since May.
Tireless cyclists from AMK Kraków S.A. proved again to be incredibly vital, and they do enjoy daily performance of dozens of kilometres. What is more, they are not only satisfied with caring about their own bodies and health, but even more so with taking care of the natural environment, thus contributing to reduction of a number of cars on the Kraków streets every single day.
- From AMK 21 employees participated in the campaign, including 8 ladies.
- They rode 19 909,6 km altogether, whereas women alone achieved 7 566,2 km
- Average distance for the ladies totalled 945,8 km, and for men 822,9 km
Though formally the whole action has finished, our cycling fans still benefit from good weather conditions struggling to ride their personal best.
